Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Priced reasonably. It’s no wonder this place is bustling.
We travel to Daesalam and we eat here almost everyday.(We are not india😳) Their food was so tasty. The food was not cheap 1 food ,we paid approximately 25,000 more for business indian man or travelers eat here.
Excellent vegetarian Indian food. The prices are excellent value, especially for the daily thali specials. Both are excellent (South Indian Thali and Chowpatty Thailand) and offer varied dishes, excellent chapati, yogurt, and a sweet. Their dahi puri is also delicious!

Tasty vegeterian indian restaurant near the ferry. Many choices of curries (2 whole pages). The server suggested of the thali and mushroom thali. Well seasoned and spicy. We payed 30 000 for 2 people.

Best place to enjoy Indian pure vegetarian food. Hygiene, cleanliness, quality, taste and quantity is very good. They have a very big menu to order from to satisfy your hunger.
Wow a friend recommended this place and we finally got here, I wish I had come sooner so I could visit more than once. I absolutely loved the food at Chowpatty, see pictures, the camera eats first and it exceeded all our expectations! The service was lovely, our waitress was helpful in explaining some dishes, and then delivery was quick and yet fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back if I revisit Dar Es Salam. 3 people, we ate until we were full and still had a take away for tomorrow's lunch, dinner was 107,000 tzs, GREAT VALUE 😃 We were super pleased with all and left a tip 10,000, the waitress was so pleased. Their boast of best vegetarian restaurant in Tanzania 🇹🇿 😋 is not wrong 🙏🏻
Stopped by for the Chowpatty and boy was it nice. No expert in this cuisine so can't comment properly, but as a layman I had a delicious meal at a very competitive price.
